Partnerships

Classroom Central

Begun as a partnership between Clover LEAF and the CSD Teacher Forum to provide books for classroom libraries, Classroom Central is now a resource for new to Clover School District teachers to find a variety of free materials for their classrooms. The vision quickly expanded as classroom materials were donated by fellow teachers, community business partners and the Clover Community.

With the help of Clover LEAF volunteers and the Clover High School JROTC Cadets, the donations of class decorations, games, math manipulatives, books, pencils, binders, pens, whiteboards, and other assorted materials are sorted and prepared each year prior to New Teacher Orientation. The program has been so successful that the inventory of collected materials now occupies two classrooms.

New teachers are very excited to “shop” at Classroom Central, and Teacher Forum is in the process of opening this opportunity to all teachers in the district. The goal is to help all teachers reduce out-of-pocket costs for classroom materials. This initiative did that for new teachers, now the plan is to expand this to all educators in CSD. With the support of community partners, like you, this vision can be realized.

Teacher Forum solicits donations from district teachers at the end of each academic school year, while Clover LEAF reaches out to local businesses and community members. Classroom Central accepts donations to include cleaning supplies and all materials needed to create warm, welcoming environments for our students without adding any costs to our teachers. Please call (803) 810-8420 to arrange a time to drop off your donation.  You may use the Donate button or scan the QR code to make a cash donation.  Checks can be mailed to Clover LEAF at 604 Bethel St, Clover, S.C. 29710.

Thank you for your donation which will enrich the educational experience for students in the CSD by fostering an environment where learning becomes an exciting, dynamic, and transformative journey, preparing students to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Western York Agricultural Arena

In partnership with York School District, YSD Educational Foundation, and Clover School District, LEAF is sponsoring the Western York County Agricultural Arena. The arena is planned for a large site across from Hickory Grove-Sharon Elementary School (land donated by York School District) and will host year-round events to self sustain operating costs. The plan is to include classrooms, office spaces, kitchen, and covered arena space with potential capacity of over 2,500.

Formed in September 2023, the Agriculture Arena Steering Committee brings together individuals from York School District One, Clover School District, York County 4H, LEAF and our dedicated community. Together, we envision a space where students can thrive, school programs can flourish, and organizations like 4H and National FFA Organization can find a true home. The committee meets monthly and is focused on providing an agriculture arena that will benefit all youth in York County.
